The below Terms & Conditions shall be applicable to the TED Optimus Trading Tournament 2023 (the "Tournament").

1. Campaign Period

1.1. The Campaign Period for this Competition will begin on 20 March 2023 when Registration opens. It will run until December 2023 or when the Tournament ends.
1.2. Ted Optimus Sdn. Bhd. (TED Optimus) reserves the right to withdraw the Tournament at any time without prior notice.

2. Eligibility

2.1. The tournament is open to the public with no restrictions on nationality. Nevertheless, as cash prize will be paid in Ringgit, all winners must have an active Ringgit bank account to receive our cash prize.
2.2. To participate in the Tournament, individuals must register on TED Optimus's platform (https://thetradewizard.com/portfolio/new) for each trading competition period. All participants must have an TED Optimus account. Please register at (https://thetradewizard.com/portfolio/new)
2.3. The Organizer has the sole discretion to disqualify any participant from the Tournament for any reason. Participants must be at least 18 years old and fulfill any other requirements or prerequisites specified by the Organizer.

3. Tournament General Information

3.1. The Tournament consists of two distinct competitions:
a) Stocks Trading Tournament ("Stock Tournament") and
b) Structured Warrants Trading Tournament ("SW Tournament")
The two Tournament are traded individually, with their own rankings, leaderboards and prizes.
3.2. Participants start trading with an initial virtual capital of RM100,000 using securities products listed on Bursa Malaysia only
3.3. Participants must trade a minimum of 5 stocks or Structured Warrants (whichever applicable) in each of the competition period.
3.4. In Stock Tournament, participants may only trade Common Stocks, and in SW Tournament, they may only trade Structured Warrants.
3.5. Participants are limited to one (1) virtual trading account; any breach of the Campaign Terms & Conditions by creating more than one (1) account will result in disqualification from the Competition.

4. Tournament Timeline

4.1. There will be three trading competitions for Stock Tournament and SW Tournamnet respectively.
4.2. The duration of each competition in Stock and SW Tournament will be five(5) weeks.
There will be at least one(1) weeks for results tabulation and debrief in between competitions.
4.3. During the Tournament period, participants in the trading competition can make daily buy and sell transactions.
4.4. Participants, please be reminded that only Pro and Sophisticated membership subscribers and above are able to buy and sell with Intraday or end-of-day ("EOD") prices; all others can only buy and sell with EOD prices. Both Free account and Hobby members can buy and sell from 5:30 pm to 8:00 am on the following trading day, with EOD data.
Both Pro and Sophisticated members can buy and sell from 9:00am - 12:30pm, 2:30pm - 5:00pm with Intraday real time data, and from 5:30pm to 8:00am on the following trading day, with EOD data.

5. Tournament Order

5.1. Only market orders (i.e. buy at the prevailing ask price and sell at the prevailing bid price) are allowed for trading; limit/stop orders are not permitted.
5.2. At the time of purchase, the minimum price level for stocks is RM0.30 and the minimum price level for Stuctured Warrant is RM0.10.
5.3. Odd lots may not be traded.
5.4. Short selling is not allowed.
5.5. Every trade is subject to a commission rate of our Partner Broker.
5.6. Participants with Intraday real time data can purchase at the ask price and sell at the bid price.

6. Tournament Corporate Exercise

6.1. Any dividend income will not be taken into consideration and will not be payable to the participants’ virtual account based on the ex-dividend date.
6.2. This competition does not allow for IPO subscriptions, and no adjustment will be made for any form of corporate exercises.
6.3. Participants need to close their position before the ex-date of any corporate exercises undertaken by listed company in order to avoid a loss/gain arising from a corporate exercise.
6.4. đź”´IMPORTANTâť—đź”´Any position not closed before the ex-date of any corporate exercise (save for dividend payment) will result in the portfolio being null and void (i.e. the entire portfolio value will become zero).

7. Winners and Prizes of the Tournament

7.1. A leaderboard showing the most recent results of participants during the Competition Period will be displayed on the official website. The leaderboard will be updated on a daily basis after market closed.
7.2. During the Competition period, the participants' portfolios will be publicly visible to external visitors.
7.3. The leaderboard ranking will be determined by the simulated investment portfolio with the highest capital gains at the end of the Competition.
7.4. At the end of each competition period, any stocks or SW not sold will be closed out with the end of day closing price.
7.5. The top 6 competitors with the greatest portfolio value at the conclusion of each competition period will be awarded with prizes.
At the end of all 3 competition periods for stock and structured warrant respectively, the top 10 participants with the highest aggregate portfolio value from the three seasons of competition will be the GRAND winners of the tournament.
7.6. All participants stand to win prizes in the form of cash and cash voucher. Vouchers are valid for a period of 1 year and can be redeemed for courses, products, and services offered by TED Optimus and its group of companies.
7.7. To be eligible for a prize, the participant must provide the Organizer with details of a valid bank account and meet any other requirements imposed by the Organizer. The Organizer reserves the right to refuse payment or remittance if the participant fails to meet any requirements or if such payment or remittance would be in violation of any applicable laws or regulations. The Organizers shall not be held liable for any Prize losses or claims resulting from errors in the entry of personal particulars.
7.8. Prizes are non-transferable, non-deferrable, non-changeable, and non-exchangeable for any other item. The Organizer reserves the right to change prizes at any time, and any such changes shall be final and binding for all participants.
7.9. The winner will be announced on thetradewizard.com and TED Optimus Facebook page or any other social media used by the Organizer. All prize recipients will receive an email notification.

8. Debrief of Stocks by the Organizer (interim) and Winners (upon the completion of each competition)

8.1. For both Stock and SW Tournaments, subcribers will receive one interim debriefs after the first three weeks of the competition, followed by a final debrief for all participants.
8.2. đź”´IMPORTANTâť—đź”´ The Top 6 Winners of each competition WILL be required to share their trading strategies/methodology to all participants. If the participant is not able to conduct the required debrief on the predetermined date, he/she must share the debrief information to the organizer so that the organizer can conduct the debrief on his/her behalf, failing which he/she will not be eligible for any prize.
8.3. Each of the top 6 winners will have 20 minutes to share their trading strategies/methodology (may include answers to questions asked by the organizer).
8.4. The debrief session will be held LIVE virtually and may be broadcasted to the public through TED Optimus social media channels.

9. Personal Missions and Challenges

9.1. The personal missions and challenges campaign (the “Campaign”) is open for public participation.
9.2. TED Optimus Trading Tournament 2023 campaign will begin on Friday, March 31, 2023 and will run through December 2023.
9.3. Prizes will be awarded to participants who successfully complete the missions and challenges.
9.4. TED Optimus may work with sponsors, brokers and other institutions to provide greater value, experience and prizes for participants.
9.5. By taking part in the campaign, participants are agreeing that the Organizers and the Sponsor can collect, use, disclose, and/or process any personal data provided for marketing purposes.
9.6. By joining the campaign, all participants will provide their consent for our sponsors to contact them using their personal information.
9.7. Those taking part in the Sponsors' missions agree to abide by the Sponsors' campaign terms & conditions.
9.8. The Organizer has the discretion to disqualify or replace any winners if they deem it necessary, such as due to a system error.
9.9. For the Most LIKED in Facebook Missions, ensure that the post is set to public in order to be eligible. The participant with the most LIKES on their single post on Facebook will win the prize in the Most LIKED Missions.
9.10. Prizes for personal missions and challenges include:

10. Important Terms and Conditions

10.1. The Organizer reserves the right to reverse, modify or update any rules of the Tournament at any time. The Organizer reserves the right to reverse, delete or update any transaction placed in the TED Optimus simulation platform by participants at any time.
10.2. Abusing, hacking, and cheating are not allowed. Anyone who violates these rules or behaves in a way that is damaging to the Competition or TED Optimus's reputation will be disqualified from the Competition.
10.3. Participants in the Competition agree to have read, understood, and accepted these Terms and Conditions and the Terms of Service of thetradewizard.com. Participants shall understand that all webinars and other presentations related to the campaign and compatition may include information or content from third parties, and/or the views of third-party individuals or entities. TED Optimus has not verified this content or views, does not endorse it, and is not responsible for it.
10.4. The participant affirms that they are in compliance with all laws in their country of residence and any other applicable law regarding their participation in the Campaign. TED Optimus, its affiliates, partners, sponsors, service providers, and their respective employees, officers, agents, and representatives are not responsible for any participant who may be in breach of such laws. All participants are strongly advised to check and seek advice on the applicable laws before engaging in the Campaign.
10.5. The participant gives TED Optimus permission to collect, save, use, share, or process the information given by the participant or collected during or after the Competition (including name, contact details, email addresses and other personal data and information) for the purpose of or associated with the Competition and related uses including but not limited to the following:
(i) planning and running the Competition;
(ii) promoting, advertising and/or marketing the Competition (current or future) and/or other events and activities organised or sponsored by the Organizer.
10.6. TED Optimus reserves the right to withdraw, cancel, amend, or change the Competition and these Terms and Conditions at any time, without prior notice to participants. All decisions made by TED Optimus regarding the Competition are final, and no further communication will be allowed. Participants acknowledge that TED Optimus may publish their images and details on its channels without having to provide them with any fee or compensation.
10.7. TED Optimus shall be fully indemnified and held harmless by the participants from and against any loss, damage, cost, liability or expense (including legal fees), whether direct or indirect, incurred by TED Optimus in respect of, in connection with and/or arising from the participant’s breach of these Terms and Conditions.
10.8. If there is any inconsistency or difference between these Terms and Conditions and any marketing and/or promotional materials regarding the Competition, these Terms and Conditions will take precedence.
10.9. If a participant breaches any of these Terms and Conditions, they will be disqualified from the Competition. TED Optimus employees may take part in the Competition, but are not eligible for any prizes. In the event that any disqualified or ineligible persons are placed in the prize-winning positions, TED Optimus reserves the right to award prizes to the next best eligible participant.
10.10. TED Optimus, its Supporting Partner, sponsors, partners, and their respective officers, employees, directors, affiliates and subsidiaries, representatives and/or agents shall not be held liable for any loss or damage of any kind, including any direct, indirect, special, incidental, consequential, punitive or exemplary loss or damage arising from or in connection with participation in this Competition and acceptance, possession, use and/or misuse of prizes, to the extent permitted by law.
